Q Exactive, ESI-hybrid quadrupole-orbitrap (Thermo Scientific):
Used mainly for protein quantitation and PTM analysis.

TSQ Vantage, ESI-triple stage quadrupole (Thermo Scientific):
Used for targeted protein quantitation (SRM).

The LTQ Orbitrap Velos has been upgraded to LTQ Orbitrap Velos Pro.

Fortebio Octet RED384 installed in Tampere

The Fortebio Octet is using  BioLayer Interferometry (BLI) to enable real-time, label-free analysis of biomolecular interactions and to provide information on affinity, kinetics and concentration.
An instrument training seminar for  the Fortebio Octet will be organized next Wednesday, 21.12.2011.
